Both great bikes. I had a few Kawis back in the day. KZ1000, GPz 550, 600/900/1000 Ninjas dated from 78-89. Wish I kept my 78 KZ1000 they go for good money now days. Oh the good ol days when you could stare death in the face and ride with no helmet lol

I bought a GPZ900R at the age of 26,it was imported from California, the right colours ,and I added a few U.S Navy aviation stickers, including a Tomcat design.....I'm now 49 years old and still have the bike. It makes me grin every time I ride it😁👍🇬🇧🇺🇸🇺🇸🇬🇧

I owned a GpZ 900 in 1988 it was a great bike back then. One of my best friends had the 750 turbo. I could get him off the line, but that turbo would catch me at about 110. I bounced the needle past 150 on the 900. I was cruising south down 94/41 thru Milw WI at bout 130mph at nite & passed cop parked trying to catch drivers speeding, I gunned it to 150+ and got off on airport exit & cut down college Ave. I never even saw his lights. Man to be young again!

I had this beast back in 1989.(blue version)..with a short open Yoshimura race-pipe...man...the sound was the most brutal and most nice sound I ever had and heard on all motorcycles..even until today..(@ low rpm's...he sounded like a nice growling bear but when the higher you went in rpm's...the bike started to howl like a wulf...it was really unbelievable...my wife even could hear me miles away..).and I had the fastest...after this one...like...the Suzuki GSXR1100....the Suzuki GSX1000R K8 and the Suzuki B-King.
